Black History Month serves as an avenue to understand Black histories beyond that of the slavery and racism suffered to the excellent achievements of Africans around the world.

For many Black people around the world, the celebration of the Black History Month serves as a way to reflect on past events about the struggles and sacrifices made and to also envision what possibilities lie in the future ahead. A continued engagement with history is vital as it helps give context for the present. That history celebrated has grown beyond the representations of the struggles of only our African-American brothers and sisters to include Africans around the world.

This shared unity rooted in a history of struggle and a forward movement in growth has served to strengthen our bonds as one people with one black history and one black future.
A beginning point on the journey to an established black future is only possible with ready avenues that allow unity to fester. This avenue is made possible with the establishment of the 6th region of Africa which welcomes our African brothers and sisters from the diaspora to a place they can call home.

In the eyes of Dr. Chief P.A Crystal-Djirackor, the new Africa, joining together all its people around the world into a one physical and spiritual whole with six very resourceful regions working in unison, will become the answer to the many unsolved challenges of our world with landmark solutions for future generations.
